Overview
A hand-made animation using After Effects and Adobe Illustrator, based off the World Table Tennis Championships 2015 Poster Series by Denstu INC. The poster series intended to increase the viewship of the National TV Broadcasting of the Championships, as well as to elevate the popularity of table tennis as a sport.
Building the frames
When building the frames of the animation, I aimed to convey the tension of the moment and the stoic nature of the sport, while also incorporating fluid motion along with subtle transitions and realistic physics. These elements make animations more lifelike, drawing viewers into the narrative and enhancing engagement by conveying emotions and telling stories dynamically.
